Musing With Marita

Not everything dies, Mr. Mulder.

Marita

Location
My real name is Kerry and I live in Massachusetts. Marita Covarrubias is my *alter-ego* from the X-Files message boards on IMDb.I have two yellow labrador retrievers: Sally, 7, and Brydie, 12, both of whom you'll see in the "My Dogs" photo album. There are two other photo albums for you also >> "My Portfolio" and "X-Files." I can't tolerate any sports except for maybe tennis and I don't like meat but I'm not a vegetarian -- because I don't like vegetables either! I love to draw, paint, read, etc. My best friend happens to be the one and only Erinicole. I wuuuv her very much and I'm working on coverting her...into an X-Phile!!!! ((WHUT <333)) I can't stand spelling errors and what not so please inform me if you ever catch one on here ~ xoxo.

Ham. Ham it all.

Okay, so new Phile board apparently? I don't really see what the problem is. Someone deleted the HCTs so we start a whole new website? Stupid stuff has happened like this before...why now?  Sorry guys but I just don't like the idea of switching locations.

In other news: Nothing. I haven't blogged in a century and don't have much to say now. Cheers to this merry entry. I suddenly feel crappy. It's late, it's Sunday. I deplore Sunday. Sunday is the day on which Monday conspires your demise.

We're diving into a research paper in English right now. A ham research paper, that's right. Why the hell would I want to do a five page research paper!?!?

I can't wait until Thanksgiving, though. Not so much the meal, of course, since we all know I despise turkey, sweet potatoes, etc. Mostly just the holiday atmosphere. Oh -- and the apple cider. Gotta love that cider.

I am going to go eat some ice cream now. Yeah, it's past 11 PM, so what? I don't want to go to school tomorrow. School should rot in hell.

Ham you all.

Everyone you meet, they're jamming in the street

Four day weekend is here! I slept over Erin's house last night and we watched Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space' at 2:45 AM And we also bopped over to the Robert Patrick board...some really funny posts and threads there, and a hilarious picture of him in "Double Dragon"!

I also discovered that Chris Owens played the Great Mutato in Post-Modern Prometheus. Did I know that? I can't believe I would have forgotten. In any event, whether I just learned it or just recalled it, I was like flipping out. Haha, now that I think about it, one can totally hear Spender in his voice! I had to go back and add him to my recurring actors list so now there are 206**

Sadly, I did not get those letters done last weekend...still only have notes. I would really like to get those written. Perhaps I should try to get my homework finished tonight so I can have Sunday and Monday free?

Right now there is a Phile-Mania MSN conversation going on >> Joris, Jaci, Will, Rita, Hila, and I! Rain felt sick and left earlier. And Ravn showed me some new comics about an hour ago. So random, but funny

As for where I am on my photo albums -- the majority of what I want to get on here are the pictures Erin and I took in Maine. I am dying here! I really want them! She better find a way to get it all to me by the end of this weekend. The short videos we filmed are stuff I want, also. I've been wanting to put clips of my friends and I to music, maybe with some pictures. There is a non-Maine vid of me blowing bubbles, too!!

Toodles,
- Marita

Baklava!

Last entry: July 21st?! That's pathetic Anyways, I'm back and it's been way too long since I went to Maine and the Cape to cover those events so let's just skip to the present!

Three day weekend followed by a four day one! Rejoice! I hope to write three letters this weekend -- to Mrs. Copher, Mrs. Flynn, and Ms. Hurley. I already wrote down what I want to mention in each of the letters. Visiting them at the middle school doesn't look like it's going to happen since the high school day ends a half hour later than theirs...I figure writing to them is the next best thing. And of course I have to do my homework this weekend Maybe I'll save that until Monday.

Joris, Becky, Linds, Max, and I had a glorious Skype conversation last night. Kim came on later, after I had to turn the volume down, though. So I could only type to her. We've had a few good Skypes in the past month.

"Kerry, who are you talking to?"
- "Myself."
"Oh, okay."

I talked to Erin on the phone until 12:45 AM last night! Haha. And now I've spent hours on the computer today. Posted quite a bit, I believe. There was this one annoying thread with someone who has never appeared on the board before...and entered with a *There are plot holes in almost every episode* Not only did they give the stupidest examples to back it up, but they called me a ridiculous fan and a moron!

The list of recurring actors and actresses on the X-Files is finished. I came out with a total of 205!! Wowza. It's not really a thing that needed to be posted, I just wanted to get an idea of the..."grandeur of the project"! Ahaha! Well-Manicured Man quote! Anyways, yeah, it's just a cool thing to look at. And I learned a lot while making it. Some people playing more roles than I thought.

Wow, I haven't blogged since the change to Windows Live. I only edited my layout and stuff so it would be conducive to the new formats. This is weird! I can only have one color text in my entries? And no highlighting? Maaah. Now I can't have my Marita signature in pink like always

Yay! J-Man just signed onto MSN...I'll go nudge him.

Now that I'm back in business on Musing With Marita, I plan to edit the My Dogs photo album and add some other albums. Expect to see pictures of me in the future! I was thinking of uploading some photos of younger me...especially XF related ones ((me in front of my poster when I was in like...kindergarten!)) And, of course, more up to date pictures -- I really want to get my hands on the pictures Erin and I took in Maine two months ago! There are quite a few, and none of them are of scene
ry...just us!!! Oh, and I will be resurrecting the X-Files pictures.

P.S. I'm having an XF party with Erinicole and Lizard on 10/13 in honor of it simultaneously being the *special* day ((Ten Thirteen Productions, Chris Carter/Mulder's birthday)) and Friday the 13th! It's all too perfect! Too bad it's not one of the days we have off from school, though. We hope to make it a sleepover so we can watch a ton of episodes. Lizard hasn't seen the show at all!

July 21

It's a global conspiracy, actually

I have been meaning to make this blog entry for quite some time now  It's been over 3 weeks!

I've still been watching a lot of X-Files...eight episodes on the day after my last entry on here, the Monday before last...

This is old news now, but congratulations to Gillian Anderson. Her portrayal of Lady Deadlock in the amazing mini-series Bleak House has been nominated for an Emmy!

  *APPLAUSE*

Haha! I saw Nicolas Lea in a commercial for Kyle XY and Whistler.  He's listed as "Mysterious Man" for Kyle XY --- oh, that silly Krycek.

I laugh everytime I see the trailer for Snakes on a Plane. What an obvious title! There's people on airplane...attacked by snakes. Of course! SoaP!  Erin and I went to the IMDb board for it. All I can say about that is BWAHA.

I added 7 pictures to the Dogs album. Only 3 of them are new ones...more to come.

This past Sunday, I went over Erinicole's house because they were having a party for her little brother's baseball team and the players' parents. There was lots of food. I ate cookies. Lots of cookies.

Her and I watched Field Trip, S6, and Bad Blood, S5. Bryan, the brother I mentioned, watched BB with us. People on IMDb have said they think it's the perfect episode to show someone you want to get into the show.  I love this episode and it is indeed very funny but I don't think Bryan found it as humorous as Erin and I did. Afterall we know the characters and you really have to understand what the other episodes are like to see why BB is hilarious. I think he enjoyed it, though. Geez, I absolutely  the part in Scully's version of the story when Mulder is laughing on the bed. Priceless. I watched it again yesterday!

**Molly got her license today

My mom took her and I out to dinner to celebrate and because I'm leaving tomorrow morning >> for Maine >> with Erin and her family >> Talk to you in a week,

- Marita

July 02

Go drink some paint!

Good morning starshine,
The Earth says, "Hello!"
You twinkle above us,
We twinkle below...

I love the summer.
Quite an obvious thing to express, but come on -- No school. How can it get better than that!? I have time to do whatever I want. That is just great.

I can watch the X-Files >> and I am.
I ordered the fourth, fifth, and sixth season on Amazon.com on Monday, the 26th. They just came on Friday!
I am deliriously happy that I now have 139 episodes to choose from when I go to make a selection.

On Wednesday, Erin and I watched Milagro on SciFi and went to Applebee's. There we just laughed the entire time.  Ate and laughed.
When we returned to my house we watched Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose on my DVDs.

Three days later -- yesterday a.k.a. Saturday -- my new seasons had arrived so I went over Erin's. We only got around to watching Arcadia and Triangle. Mimi is visiting. She likes tomatoes with mayonnaise because they are "stupendously awesome."

Today started off with a particularly nasty incident with ants which I would rather not discuss. Then I just came on and off the computer >> chatting with my fellow X-Philes on MSN, posting on the IMDb boards ((slow and almost deserted today)). At about 3:00PM I sat down to watch some great televison: X-Files DVDs

I have enjoyed three episodes so far...The Pine Bluff Variant, The End, and The Beginning. My mom watched a bit of that trio! She went in and out the room, but of the three, caught all of The End. I love to have someone watch it with me, and no one in my family except for Joni so it's pretty exciting. Of course -- I might even go as far as to say it was not worth it...for she kept asking questions!  Not the harmless inquiring of my knowledge questions, but the kind of annoying questions like, "Is she going to get attacked?" Questions with an answer that she herself will get 2 seconds after asking. Could she not wait to see if what something meant? Geez. It's not like they aren't going to tell you why the guy died.

I haven't seen that two-parter since it first aired! Wow the memories that came flooding back! It's not like I remembered everything that was happening like, "Oh yes! And then he shoots him." It was more like certain parts, you know? The images I saw many years ago had been burned into my mind in such a way...It was really cool to see it again.

Eegadz Diana Fowley is the most horrible, ugly, fat, evil whorebitch! I thought I was going to throw up when Frohike used the words "good-lookin'" in a conversation about her!

Good morning starshine,
You lead us along...
My love and me as we sing,
Our early morning singing song!

Well, I'm not going to make an essay out of this particular entry so I'll be off now. Hopefully I can watch some more XF >> I was thinking at least Dreamland and Dreamland II?

Stay cool people,
 - Marita

June 25

...:::I Want To Believe:::...

It's been awhile, hasn't it?

Well I think a rewind is in order -- I should probably talk from where I last left off first.

Monday, June 5th: Almost three weeks ago now...we put Brydie down  I ended up not going to school and I also ended up going with my family when we took her at 11:30AM. Joni and I were going to stay in the car but once my dad picked Brydie up to carry her in, I couldn't handle having such an abrupt goodbye ((not that any goodbye could be helped from being so sudden in this situation)). So we went in -- my whole family, even my brother who we usually never see since he spends most of his time in his room. The vet talked with us all in a small room about Brydie, making sure the choice to put her down was right. Of course it was, she was a very sick dog. Only my sister Molly and my mother stayed for the injection. Everyone else waited outside in our separate cars...waited for the two to come out so we could leave. We were all crying I had finally started to just before we left the house when my mother went under the dining room table and said to Brydie, "You want to go for a ride?" I broke in 2 seconds flat. Brydie loved rides, but it would be her last.

I only cried in school the next day, Tuesday...after that I just cried at home. Her collar is still hanging from the rearview mirror in my mom's car.

Friday, June 9th: School dance -- LAST school dance of middle school. Wanted to finally ask the guy I like to dance but the lame DJ only played three slow songs. THREE. I missed one because I was out in the hall with someone...and you want to know what the other two were? Unfaithful and I'm In Love With A Stripper!! I mean, what the hell?!? One about cheating and the other about a prostitute. Psssh. So I never got to ask him...and he is going to a different high school next year!! Baklava.

Saturday, June 10th: Alex Handy, a seventh grader, was on his bike and got hit by a car. He died later that night. It wasn't like he knew me or anything, but I had talked to him before. I have some friends who knew him well, and when one's friends are sad it is easy to get sad yourself. Our school was pretty upset by this sudden tragedy. RIP.

Tuesday, June 13th: As a final little assignment in English, Mrs. Copher had us do a "Me Box." Hah -- the last time I did a MeBox was in first grade!  So, she gave the instructions to us on Thursday ((decorate box, put in 7-10 items, and have presentation be at least 4 minutes but no more than 5)) and then we all were given a day to present, four or five people a day. I went Tuesday ~ First of all, for my box I used a pinkish-purple colored one that I had. I didn't want to ruin it for any other purpose I might need it for later so I was pretty clever in the way I decorated it. I used oil pastels to write ME BOX in a really funky lettering on the top... Oil pastels wash off of plastic! Then on the sides, instead of gluing a bunch of stuff on, I put three rubber bands around the box - pink, green, and purple. That way I could just slip movie ticket stubs, candy wrappers, and clothing tags under the rubber bands...keeping them in place until I took the rubber bands off! Smart, right?  Now, onto what I put in ~

1. A party hat ((I like to have fun and party with friends, haha))
2. A cookie monster PEZ dispenser ((I have a collection of over 60 PEZ dispensers and I love cookie monster!))
3. A zip-lock bag with 8 goldfish crackers in it ((BEST snack ever! LoL. And 8 is my favorite number))
4. A picture of Erin and I in Boston
5. A 80's CD I made ((I love 80's music, burning CDs, and decorating them [the 80's one looks pretty hot ))
6. An "I  Chuck Norris" button ((my good friend Lizard made it for me and she means a lot to me))
7. Brydie's collar
8. A picture of Sally
And...last but not least...one that my friends at IMDb will appreciate...*drum roll*
9. A season on The X-Files on DVD ((S3))

Heh, when elaborating on my XF DVDs, I told the class it was "the best show ever" and that it was on for 9 years, blah blah blah, and "To say I am obsessed with it is an understatement."
So ---- Everyone loved my MeBox!! They enjoyed how when I showed the party hat I mentioned SotROoP...Sisterhood of the Random Outbursts of Partying...which has two members, Lizard and I. And from the front of the room I asked her to party with me and we did for a few seconds ((a "party" in the SotROoP is basically moving your arms in a dance-like fashion for like 5 seconds. LoL. We have a list of the parties we've had, i.e. in history class, with Grey, at 10AM...and the "To-Do" list with things such as in the rain, in a bathroom, and with a squirrel.)) I got great applause at the end and some even said mine was the best. It was pretty cool  I got a 100 *smiles*

Friday, June 16th: I got contacts!

Monday, June 19th: Sally had her surgery. She is doing fine now...but she has to wear a shirt so she can't get at the stitches  ((Years ago when she was *fixed* she pulled out all her stitches. The vet said it was done so nicely that it looked like they were removed by surgeon! Then they had to staple her...and she took those out!!!! HAHAH.)) The shirt is pink. She is definitely pretty in pink

Wednesday, June 21st: My class went to Canobie Lake Park. It wasn't *oodles of fun* but I had a pretty good time. I walked around with Nicole and Jilli ((Emily got the flu and couldn't come)). We only got to stay for two hours so we didn't actually do much. We went on "da Vinci's Dream" -- swings that fly through the air...then Nicole and I went on a little kids ride, "The Caterpillar." Hehe. Next was the "Corkscrew" -- a rollercoaster that starts with a drop and then you go upside down in loops two or three times before it's over, takes 30 seconds at most, LoL. And...then I guess we went on the ferris wheel for a while...I had my discman so we listened to RENT  After that was pretty much nothing. We waited like 20 minutes in line for pizza, ate, tried to get Dip N' Dots but our flavors of choice were out, and then we got back on the bus for the hour and a half ride home...

Thursday, June 22nd: Last day of middle school!! It was a half day so we only had periods D, E, F, and G...we got our yearbooks in homeroom then I spent D period signing people's yearbooks in science class. E period is an exploratory -- I skipped that and just stayed in the hall with a few people writing essay-long messages in their yearbooks. F period came around, which is history class, but Erin and I still saw people in the halls so we didn't go. We went to see if the gym was empty and it was...except for Lizard, Katie, and Joe! So we went in there and were really stupid...we put some random table down like in the movies when people are shooting at you and you hide behind a table until every few moments you sit up to shoot back...then we put a goal net in front of it. You know, random and silly things we did. Before we eventually exited the gymnasium, we left a note behind our setup that read ~

By the time you read this, we will have already escaped...
LONG LIVE LEK
You'll never catch us alive!

Hah. Then we went to the cafeteria...stayed there for a while...ran around its huge emptiness...the tables were pulled to the walls so there was tons of space. There were paper stars on the pillars...we wrote on them  And we took one of the big white ones, wrote "Thanks for being stupid" on it, and put it on Hilary Duff's face...on a Got Milk? banner that is really high up. Lizard had to stand on the metal buffet thing to tape it up there. Afterwards we went into the back room of the cafeteria for teachers. There was a newspaper. I read it. And I wrote with silver sharpie "Never forget that I love you. -Alfonso" on a napkin and left it in one of the drawers. We heard noises so we snuck out a side door that practically took us outside, went into the empty locker room and out the other side...Then Lizard and I said our goodbyes to Erin ((she is on another team)) and went to history class. We got up there...Mrs. Aten was very pissed off. Seh had the meanest face on. After we went in to her room she called us out into the hall and yelled at us! I was frozen...I NEVER get into trouble. Worst of all, I have very much disliked Mrs. Aten all year. It had to be her, didn't it. She asked us where we were and we told her that we just walked around. She said, "We were looking for you. Mrs. LeBarre was looking for you!" Yeah, right. I was soooo mad that she was mad! She had no reason to be. You can't claim that her anger came from worrying about us. She had no concern of our whereabouts she just felt like getting mad. I highly doubt Mrs. Lebarre ((the principal)) was looking for us. We were all around the school and we never saw her! And HELLO! I they were really looking for us that badly they would have used the PA system to call us down to the office. Plus - we saw Mrs. Hassenfuss ((the vice-principal, who is the biggest bitch, even more than LeBarre)) and all she said to us was, "Hello Ladies." Hem-hem. She would have said something if we were considered MIA. Ugh. I just can't get over Mrs. Aten doing that. Mrs. Copher wasn't even mad us later when we talked to her -- and she knew we were missing. It was the last day of school, give us a break...let us have fun!
Anyways, then for the last period of the day the entire eighth grade went to the cafeteria to sign each others yearbooks. I didn't walk around much...or write much in people's yearbooks. I was so upset that I was screamed at for something so stupid.
Next thing I know, everyone is shouting...I look up at the clock ~ 11:02AM. It's over. Done with. I feel nothing. Don't even recognize that I will never see a lot of these people again, and walk out the door.
I didn't get to say goodbye to the guy I like whom I won't see again *sigh* Maybe I will IM him.

I went home and even though the day was still young, I didn't go to Jilli's as planned. I was tired, I didn't feel happy. I was probably the only eighth grader that stayed home on the last day of middle school...who cried and slept.

Now: Three days into my summer vacation. Still haven't really done anything. Erin was supposed to hang out with me yesterday but then her mom ended up letting her go to the concert that a few weeks ago she said she couldn't go to. Yeah, I was pretty sad. I had gotten up early and showered and dressed and was all excited to do something. Thought maybe we would watch X-Files or whatever.  Darn.
I went to Target with Molly and my mom at 8:30PM. ARRRGH. I really want to get more seasons of XF and the price just went down to $24.97!! I would rather get them in the store than online...but  when we went last night they were $39.99!! AGGGGH! Geez, that is so annoying. Why can't they be the same price as they are on Target.com!?!?! If it weren't for this ever frustrating price difference thing, I would have come home with three more season last night. Baklava.

I hope to get my Random Talk stuff that is like forever late finished soon and to get back into IMDb. Thanks for the e-mails and PMs guys!!!

I added a music list to Musing With Marita if you wish to check that out ((It is below my photo album)). It's just a bunch of random songs from my playlist. There is like probably only 90 songs right now...I still need to add some more. You can rate them and the list by clicking the stars!

I would like to give a shout out to prmc2 for completing middle school too!! Whoo-hoo we're officially high schoolers! *high fives all around*
And congratulations to everyone else who graduated from whatever!!

Have a great summer

The Best Dog in the Whole Wide World

Well, I can't believe it is over.
Two years she has had the cancer.
So sudden -- but the end is here.
Brydie has not been able to get up on her own all weekend, therefore she hasn't eaten much.
She cries at night but there is nothing we can do for her.

It seems the tumor on her shoulder has burst and that she is bleeding internally.
We have to put her down tomorrow!!

I'm finding it so hard to believe -- I haven't even cried. It is so hard to imagine...I'm on the fence about how to spend my day tomorrow >> Both my sisters are going with my parents to the place...but I've heard that is the worst thing to do...so I'm almost definitely sure I don't want to go there.
So do I just stay home all day???
It's weird: I actually want to go to school tomorrow!  I never want to go to school! So why now? Seriously, I would normally jump to miss it.

Perhaps because it is the end of the year and I don't want to get behind...Psssh. Yeah right, since when am I like that?

Baklava!  I don't know what to do. I see myself going to school -- but then what? I have to go see all my shmoe-ish teachers and do icky work! And if I start crying? It won't be that bad, but what if a teacher thinks I should be sent home. I'm not sure if my mom would want to deal with picking me up.

What to do?

*sigh* Sally is already getting depressed!

Through Sparks and Shining Dragons

So, yeah. I haven't blogged in five days. I pretty much suck at it. Nothing eventful has happened, but I'll fill you in on the non-events of my life anyways

I slept over Erin's on Sunday...No school on Monday because of Memorial Day ((yay!!)). We didn't get a chance to have XFest3 but we did spend some time on IMDb and tried to pretend to be trolls on the Lost  boards by creating a thread called "Sawyer is a woman!! Proof here..." It didn't really work, however, because we didn't have anything in the post's body except for "PROOF" which, I know, is lame. And only one person responded  We also watched the Gumby movie!!! I fell asleep towards the end...

On Monday, I had Friday's homework to do. But it wasn't that bad because I watched The X-Files Movie: Fight the Future while I did it.  I seriously can't get enough of it!!  ((Just like Star Wars: Return of the Jedi )) I don't know why, but I always skip the first scene! The part with the cavemen >> I just never want to watch it...blah, blah, blah...screeching alien, black oil...
Then I watched hours of Nick-At-Nite -- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Roseanne, Cosby Show...awesome TV. Ick >> However, the night was not good. A spider crawled across my arm then I saw it disappear at the top of my bed. I couldn't handle that -- knowing that a spider could crawl on me while I am sleeping. I am not afraid of them. I just hate them. Like Mulder's memory from "War of the Coprophages" ((Season 3)):
"Yeah, I had a praying mantis epiphany and, as a result, I screamed. No, not... not a girlie scream, but the scream of someone being confronted by some before unknown monster that had no right existing on the same planet I inhabited. Did you ever notice how a praying mantis' head resembles an alien's head? I mean, the mysteries of the natural world were revealed to me that day, but instead of being astounded, I was... repulsed."
Okay, so maybe that is not that similar...bad analogy, you say? Hey -- anything for an XF reference, I say
In any event, I slept towards the end of my bed, squished up against my pillow with about 3 feet of leg space. Hah. And about 2 hours of sleep total.

Tuesday >> First day back to school from the three day weekend. Meh! Icky school. Came home...ate ice cream!! The usual - coffee fudge ice cream, mixed with three Little Bites Fudge Brownies and topped with chocolate shavings...Yum!

I watched "Folie Á Deux" ((Season 5)) on SciFi. It was the episode picked for Week 1 of the X-Files Discussion Club ((XFDC)) on IMDb but I couldn't watch it back then because I don't have it on DVD or tape. So now is my chance to blab about it!
Very good! I enjoyed it! At the time, I found the teaser quite strange...because I thought the episode was "Drive." This is SciFi's fault of course. They should have been playing "Drive" because the last episode they played was "The Beginning" and "Folie Á Deux" should have been played last Tuesday  I hate when they screw up the order!! I've tried to email them, but they never respond!! BAKLAVA. So yeah, I hadn't seen "Drive" in awhile either so I didn't recognize right away that it wasn't it. As you can imagine, seeing the teaser before the opening credits made me think, *Why would they name this episode Drive!?*
Anyways, if you'd like to read the rest of my 'FAD' blabberings, you can visit my Random Episode Talk thread >> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106179/board/flat/34327845
^ Okay, okay. I know -- It's not there yet...I might not get around to writing the rest of my review today  I'm sorry IMDb people who think of me as the *I'll get around to it* Marita lately. I promise, I really do: I will get my 'FAD' thoughts posted! I really do want to resurrect Random Episode Talk. Check back in a couple days at most. I'll mention on here when I do it.

So, back to yesterday: Waited a looooong time before I started my homework., Ended up doing it while watching TBS at night. HOURS OF TBS. Seinfeld, Friends, Sex in the City, more Seinfeld...that is 1 hour per show x 4 shows = 4 hours!!

And Wednesday ((yesterday)) -- More shmoe-ish school. Another creative writing assignment...IN FRIGGIN HISTORY CLASS!!! Who does she think she is, the English teacher or something!?! Baklava...*rolls eyes*
I didn't do any of my homework...Tried to start it at night, but watched Nick-At-Nite for hours again. Geez, I love Roseanne !

SCULLY: "Mulder...are you sure it wasn't a girlie scream?"

Today: Don't worry! There was a substitute teacher in Spanish class this morning so I was able to do my homework!  MUHAHA.
Ick. That thing is due in History tomorrow. I have to write a speech convincing the King/Queen to finance my trip...and pretend to be an explorer  I know -- it's not that hard, but meh. Science test tomorrow, wish me luck.

*****
You'll never believe this.
First of all, for those of you who wouldn't know, Sally has had this small growth on the side of her for like two years. The vet has always said it was a wart and that it would fall off...I can see why she would say that >> It's above the skin...like...it's stuck to her, not growing underneath her fur or anything. It has never fallen off.
Anyways, she had a check up the other day and my mom got the growth biopsied.
The vet called...
It's cancer. It has to be removed.
WHAT!?
How can that be?
No.
Sally...she is supposed to be the healthy one. Brydie has cancer...
I don't understand why I'd have that luck -- two dogs, both have cancer?
No.
Apparently it's a different type than Brydie's though. Well obviously...I wouldn't think it was the same. Brydie has tumors all over her, but growing underneath her fur, the biggest one being on her right shoulder ((it's bigger than a softball)). So, that means...it might be okay once removed. We won't know if the cancer exists throughout her body until they take it off and run tests and crap like that.

Day Damn Two

What a lovely day!!!
A sunny Saturday -- the first of my three day weekend...
Woke up at like 11AM and went to Nicole's at 2.
Had a water balloon fight.
Played SORRY.
Came home.
And now I am talking to Scullers, Dieks, and Sofinator on MSN IM...
^Get it Philes! Go here to download http://join.msn.com/messenger/overview and then set up an account!

P.S. Forgot one part of my day: Typing the most boring blog entry in the history of blogging.

This is an awesome X-Files video from YouTube that Lizzie posted on IMDb. Definitely take the time to check it out! I'm in love with the song in it now and finally someone figured out what it was so I downloaded it on LimeWire. Thanks Ally! ((It is "Have You Seen Me Lately" by Keri Noble for those of you who want to know. And I got some of her other songs...she is good!))

Hola!

Yay! My first blog entry here.

Yeah. So -- Welcome to *Musing With Marita*. I got this MSN Space because I just downloaded their messenger so I could chat with my buddies from the X-Files IMDb boards.

I don't really know what I'm doing so sorry if this is a crappy page.

((P.S. View the pictures in the "My Portfolio" album of my photos in full-size mode because otherwise they look gross.))
